HOLSTEX® Basketweave in Armor Black is a thermoform sheet with a true 3D basketweave texture raised on its front face and a smooth back, finished in a deep, neutral black that suits almost any build. Because the pattern is raised rather than printed, it keeps its sharp detail through heating and forming, giving finished parts a classic, leather-look texture.
Fabricators and hobbyists use it for kayak keel guards, RC parts, cosplay armor, equipment covers, and protective cases wherever a distinctive textured finish is wanted. It is also widely used for holsters and knife sheaths, where the pattern matches traditional basketweave duty gear.
HOLSTEX® forms at standard thermoforming temperatures with either press or vacuum forming, handling much like KYDEX® and BOLTARON®. Once cooled, it holds its shape well, and finished parts are lightweight, tough, and resistant to scratches and fading. Forming instructions are included with each order.
Armor Black is available in .080, .093, and .125 gauge in sheet sizes from 8in x 8in up to 2ft x 4ft, and CKK Plastics can custom cut sheet to your dimensions. Select your gauge and size from the options above.
