Vapor is a semi-translucent KYDEX® sheet with a haircell finish. Light passes through the formed piece, so whatever sits behind or inside it stays visible. That makes Vapor a good fit for see-through covers and guards, display and view panels, and RC and cosplay projects. Desert Glass has a warm, sand-colored tint, and Frosted Glass has a cool, frosted tint.
Vapor heats and forms in the same 300°F to 375°F range as solid color KYDEX®. Once it softens, press or vacuum form it over the mold, let it set, and trim the edges clean. It can be formed into items of almost any size or shape, and the finished piece holds its molded detail and stays lightweight and waterproof.
Both colors come in .080 gauge, with sheet sizes of 8in x 8in, 8in x 12in, 1ft x 1ft, and 2ft x 4ft.
