The 3K twill face is paired with a Tactical texture back in 17 colors and with an untextured back in Armor Black, at thicknesses from .060 to .125 across the range.
Heating, forming and bending leave the 3D twill sharp, so a finished keel guard, armor plate or protective covering still looks convincingly like real carbon fiber. Armor Black works as a deep neutral black on almost any build, while Battleship Gray is a medium naval gray with an industrial look. The rest of the range spans soft tones like Desert Tan and Foliage Green as well as bright ones like Purple Haze and Zombie Green.
This sheet forms between 300°F and 375°F on press or vacuum forming equipment. The protective surface mask keeps the finish clean in transit and is meant to come off before forming. Once formed and cooled, the piece holds its shape with good strength and stays light. The detailed instructions sent with each order take you from an oversized blank, through forming over your object, to the final trim and finish.
