KYDEX® P1 in Hunter Orange is a thermoform sheet with the P1 haircell texture on its finished face and a smooth back, finished in a high-visibility hunter orange. It forms cleanly when heated and holds its molded detail once cooled, without shrinking or warping, so parts come out consistent from one piece to the next.
The P1 haircell surface is uniform, non-reflective, and scratch resistant, which makes it a dependable choice for kayak keel guards, RC parts, cosplay armor, protective covers and guards, and molded panels. It is also widely used for holsters and knife sheaths.
KYDEX® forms at roughly 300°F to 375°F by vacuum, press, or oven forming. Heat it, mold it with forming foam or a press, let it cool, and finish the edges to shape. Finished parts are lightweight and waterproof, and they clean up with mild soap and warm water.
Hunter Orange is available in .060, .080, and .093 gauge in sheet sizes from 8in x 8in up to 2ft x 4ft, and CKK Plastics can cut sheet down to the size you need. Select your gauge and size from the options above.
