HOLSTEX® Carbon Fiber in Armor Black is a thermoform sheet with a realistic 3K twill carbon fiber texture on its top face and the Tactical texture on the back, finished in a deep, neutral black that suits almost any build. The 3D carbon fiber pattern holds its definition through heating, forming, and bending, so finished parts keep the look of real carbon fiber.
It is a strong fit for kayak keel guards, RC parts, cosplay armor, airsoft gear, and protective coverings, anywhere a carbon fiber look adds to the finished piece. It is also widely used for holsters and knife sheaths.
HOLSTEX® forms between 300°F and 375°F on either press or vacuum forming setups and handles much like KYDEX® and BOLTARON®. For best results, cut the sheet slightly oversized, form it over your object, let it cool, then trim and finish. Once set, it holds its shape with good strength while staying lightweight, and detailed instructions are included with your order.
Each sheet ships with a protective surface mask to guard the finish during shipping and handling. We recommend removing the mask before forming.
Armor Black is available in .060, .080, .093, and .125 gauge in sheet sizes from 8in x 8in up to 2ft x 4ft, and CKK Plastics can custom cut sheet to your dimensions. Select your gauge and size from the options above.
