KYDEX® Liquid Metal in Platinum is a thermoform sheet with a highly reflective finish that recreates the look of bright platinum. Light moves across the surface as the part turns, giving formed pieces a fluid, metallic effect that stands out.
That metal look makes it a natural fit for cosplay armor, RC parts and bodies, trim pieces, and decorative covers and panels, as well as eye-catching holsters and knife sheaths.
Despite the finish, it molds, forms, and shapes like standard KYDEX® within the same temperature range, so it drops into existing thermoforming work without adjustment. The surface is a P3 high-gloss (P3HG) texture; please note that this is a highly reflective material that will strongly interact with ambient light.
Platinum is available in .080 gauge in sheet sizes from 8in x 8in up to 2ft x 4ft, and CKK Plastics can cut sheet down to the size you need. Select your size from the options above.

Don’t need a whole sheet? You can have KYDEX® Sheet - (Platinum) - (.080) - (Liquid Metal) cut down to the size you need. You waste less material, and you’re not paying to ship a full sheet.
