The SPUMA (Slotted Post Ultra Mounting Assembly) by HOLSTEX® is used for creating separation and retention in fold-over KYDEX®, HOLSTEX®, or Boltaron® knife sheaths and gun holsters, magazine clips, flashlight holders, and general gear assemblies where fastening and retention are needed in a material gap, or for mounting clips and other attachments. Developed exclusively for holster making, each part works together with maximum precision at standard material thicknesses and with common holster attachments and rig mounting recesses. All metal parts are black coated, and each assembly includes its own precision-fit EPDM retention washer and an exclusively designed metal finishing washer for a refined mounting point.
Each SPUMA assembly comes with:
- (1) Slotted Post, black coated, 8-32 threaded
- (1) Phillips oval head screw, black coated
- (1) EPDM retention washer, black (60 durometer)
- (1) Finishing washer, black coated
Choosing Your Size:
The size sets the slotted post length, which controls the separation, or gap, the assembly creates between layers. The posts range from .125 inch (S) up to .500 inch (XL), stepping up through S, M-S, M, M-L, L, and XL. Choose a smaller size for a tight, low-profile material gap and a larger size for greater separation or a thicker material stack at your mounting point.
