HOLSTEX® Raptor in Chestnut is offered in the heavier .093 gauge, giving formed parts added stiffness for applications that see regular handling. It pairs the Raptor texture on one face with the Tactical texture on the other, so every surface of the finished part is textured.
The heavier gauge makes it a good match for kayak keel guards that take a beating, sturdy RC parts, cosplay armor that needs to hold its shape, and rugged equipment covers, cases, and trays. It is also widely used for holsters and knife sheaths.
HOLSTEX® forms at standard thermoforming temperatures and works with both press and vacuum forming setups, handling much like KYDEX® and BOLTARON®. Once cooled, it holds its shape well, resists scratching, and keeps a degree of flexibility that helps finished parts stand up to everyday use.
Each sheet arrives with a protective mask pre-applied to both faces to guard the texture during shipping, cutting, and handling. We recommend removing the mask before forming.
Chestnut is available in .093 gauge as a 1ft x 1ft sheet or a full 2ft x 4ft sheet. Select your gauge and size from the options above.
