HOLSTEX® Raptor in Armor Black is a textured thermoform sheet built for fabricators, shops, and makers who need durable, professional-looking formed parts. It carries the Raptor texture on one face and the Tactical texture on the other, so both sides of a finished part have a clean, textured finish, inside and out.
This material is well suited to a wide range of heat-formed work, including kayak keel guards, RC parts, cosplay armor, equipment covers and guards, tool and parts trays, protective cases, and prototype parts. It is also widely used for holsters and knife sheaths.
HOLSTEX® forms at standard thermoforming temperatures and works with both press and vacuum forming setups, handling much like KYDEX® and BOLTARON®. Once cooled, it holds its shape well, resists scratching, and keeps a degree of flexibility that helps finished parts stand up to everyday use.
Each sheet arrives with a protective mask pre-applied to both faces to guard the texture during shipping, cutting, and handling. We recommend removing the mask before forming.
Armor Black is available in .060, .080, and .093 gauge, in sheet sizes from 8in x 8in up to 2ft x 4ft. Select your gauge and size from the options above.
